Over a million people visit the Tillamook Cheese Factory yearly, clamoring to see how it makes its delicious ice creams, cheeses and fudge. Self-guided tours include a narrated history of the company, broad windows that overlook the cheesemakers and packaging staff at work on the assembly line, and free samples of Tillamook cheese. Visitors can spend the better part of a day exploring the gift shop with its unique cow-themed items or grabbing a bite to eat at the Farmhouse Cafe. The factory resides about two miles north of downtown, just above the Bay Breeze Golf Course.

Great little tour of the factory where excellent dairy products are made. Look for Tillamook Cheese in your grocery - then head here! Get some ice cream while at the factory, it's superb. Great for families.
